Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Regional HR Operations Lead, which is responsible for designing, standardizing, and scaling our HR operational processes to drive efficiency, enhance the employee experience, and ensure service excellence across our global footprint.

The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record in building high-performing teams, driving process optimization, and leveraging data to measure success. You will be a key player in global HR projects and a champion for creating seamless, positive interactions at every stage of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regional HR Operations Center:

  • Standardize and centralize core HR operational processesincluding but not limited to Benefits Admin, Work Visa, Employee Ticketing, and Onboardingto create a scalable and efficient service delivery model.
  • Continuously review and optimize workflows to improve process efficiency and create a first-class employee experience.
  • Define, monitor, and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality and timely service delivery to all stakeholders.

2. Global Project & Process Excellence:

  • Act as a key regional representative and contributor in global HR projects, including compliance initiatives, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) refinement, and HR system enhancements (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
  • Drive the local implementation of global initiatives, ensuring smooth change management, effective communication, and successful adoption within the region.
  • Identify operational pain points and proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance service quality and business support.

3. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Foster a collaborative, customer-centric, and data-driven team culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Set clear performance goals, provide regular coaching and feedback, and support the career development of your team members.

4. Data-Driven Performance Measurement:

  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the productivity, efficiency, and impact of the HR Operations Center.
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to generate actionable insights, prepare regular performance reports for leadership, and make data-informed recommendations for strategic improvements.
  • Champion a data-driven mindset within the team to quantify results and demonstrate the value of HR operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or a similar function, with a focus on multi-country support.
  • Proven experience in building and leading a team is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, particularly in setting up new functions or leading large-scale process improvement and standardization initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset; proficient in using data to measure performance, generate insights, and drive decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices across key regions (e.g., APAC, EMEA, North America).
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different levels and cultures.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) is mandatory to liaise with stakeholders across the region.
