Role Summary

The HRIS Manager owns the strategy, configuration, integrity, and optimization of the organization's HR technology systems across multiple countries. The role bridges HR and technology, ensuring employee data flows accurately across payroll, benefits, recruitment, and compliance platforms while supporting cross-border operations and EOR/vendor arrangements. This is a hands-on role requiring fluency in both HR processes and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Optimization

•    Oversee the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of HR information systems and applicant tracking system.

•    Lead system upgrades, module rollouts, and integrations between HR, payroll, finance, and third-party platforms.

•    Build and maintain API integrations and automated workflows (e.g., approval routing, overtime requests, data syncs) across systems.

Data Integrity & Governance

•    Ensure accuracy, security, and integrity of HR data through regular audits, validation rules, and data standards.

•    Manage user access controls, permissions, and role-based security.

•    Administer and govern access control across key HR systems, ensuring appropriate provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews.

Cross-Border & Vendor Coordination

•    Support multi-country payroll compliance and HR operations, including EOR (Employer of Record) and outsourced HRMS arrangements.

•    Liaise with external vendors and EOR providers on system configuration, service delivery, and data exchange.

Support & Enablement

•    Train and support HR staff and end-users on system functionality and best practices.

•    Troubleshoot system issues and serve as the primary escalation point for HRIS-related queries.

•    Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.

Required Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

•    3–5 years of HRIS administration experience, ideally in a regional/multi-country APAC context.

•    Proven proficiency configuring and customizing HRIS/HRMS platforms.

•    Strong technical aptitude: SQL, API integration, scripting, or workflow automation.

•    Knowledge of HR processes, payroll, and multi-jurisdiction compliance (APAC an advantage).

•    Understanding of regional data privacy regulations.

•    Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred

•    Familiarity with AI tools and their application to HR workflows (e.g., automation, analytics, AI-assisted reporting or process design).

•    Familiarity with AWS setup and cloud infrastructure.
