In Asia, the company operates an office in Shanghai with a team of around 10 staff, supporting regional customers and automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement solutions for manufacturing automation installations.
- Interpret and work with mechanical and electrical design drawings to ensure accurate installation and assembly.
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of automation systems at customer facilities.
- Make independent technical decisions during installations while coordinating with the engineering team when required.
- Lead installation teams on-site as experience and expertise grow.
- Travel frequently to customer sites across Central Europe, Asia, and other global locations to carry out installations.
- Ensure installations are completed with high precision, safety, and quality standards.
- Represent the company professionally when working directly with customers at their facilities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and project teams to complete installation projects successfully.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction during installation projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical and electrical components during installations.
- Demonstrate flexibility, proactiveness, and reliability while working in dynamic site environments.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively, with an estimated 200 travel days per year required for the role.
- Relevant technical background in mechanical, electrical, automation, or electronics engineering.
- Proven experience in executing similar installation or automation projects.
- Prior knowledge or experience in Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS) and robotics is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English with good communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers/PCs, including basic technical or operational software.
