Overview:

The Regional Manager, Facilities Management leads a multi-disciplinary team of Regional Leads to drive operational excellence and high-standard maintenance across all bank branches. This role focuses on ensuring maximum asset uptime and full alignment with regulatory mandates and Hong Leong Bank's ESG goals. The incumbent bridges the gap between branch operations, corporate headquarters, and external partners to ensure cost-effective, policy-compliant, and tenant-focused operations.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Functional

  • Lead the execution of maintenance and repair activities across regions, ensuring strict adherence to contractual and service requirements.

  • Drive forward-thinking FM strategies and sustainability initiatives aligned with the Bank's ESG commitments.

  • Ensure all branches comply with statutory legislation and health and safety audits to maintain building security with zero major non-compliances.

  • Manage lifecycle expenditure for asset refits and monitor annual FM budgets and forecasts to align with corporate financial goals.

  • Evaluate third-party service providers (soft and hard services) through rigorous SLA monitoring and data-driven monthly reporting.

  • Mentor Regional Leads and facilitate strategic forums with branch operations and vendors to ensure cross-functional alignment.

  • Provide leadership for unplanned building requirements and urgent business unit requests to ensure immediate resolution

  • Undertake specialized reporting or additional tasks as requested by superiors within bank timelines.

Jobholder Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualification

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Facilities Management Engineering, Building Services or a related field.

Experience/Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Facilities Management or Corporate Real Estate, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site leadership capacity.

  • Proven experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector is highly preferred.

  • Proficient with facility management systems, utility monitoring, and system compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.

  • Experienced in managing CAPEX/OPEX and vendor negotiations.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage high-level stakeholders.
