About The Job Regional Master Technical TrainerOur client is a well known MNC that is strong in their market and is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of Regional Master Technical Trainer to be based at their Regional Technical Training Center located in Malaysia. The incumbent must be someone who is flexible, proactive, and highly organized. Individuals should have a passion for and understanding of electric vehicles. Must have outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills while demonstrating a positive and professional appearance.You will have responsibility for developing courses, mentoring Service Technicians in areas of technical knowledge and procedures and promoting excellence in customer service.
- Provide service-specific training to technicians on vehicles equipped with complex automotive/electromechanical systems (powertrain, passive restraint system, steering/suspension/brakes, thermal management). Provide specific & general training on high voltage systems
- Train and develop Service Technicians on inspection, repair, and service of vehicles.
- Deliver Technical Training courses across all APeC countries.
- Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
- Develop training materials in close consultation with Service and Field Service Engineering.
- Ensure that programs and processes are developed, assessed, communicated, and administered in compliance with company's objectives.
- Assist with the operations at the APeC Training Facility including inventory, vehicles maintenance, room setup, service center contacts, phone calls, and scheduling.
Job Requirements- 5 years experience as a Technical Trainer, preferably with premium brands.
- Advanced and certified Service Technician including electrified vehicle knowledge
- Full command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is a must
- Understand adult learning preferences and apply modern knowledge transfer and instructor skills
- Able to fully utilize online and offline instruction methods and use training tools
- Able to manage and achieve competence objectives within the area of responsibility
- Able to communicate and work with multiple teams and stakeholders across APEC region.
