About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Regional Planning Manager to lead planning activities across our Asia Pacific operations and drive excellence in supply chain performance. In this role, you will be responsible for balancing demand and supply, optimising inventory, achieve and improving working capital, and ensuring a reliable supply network that supports business growth. You will also be responsible for leading the regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, driving medium- and long-term supply planning, managing inventory performance, and ensuring a resilient and responsive supply chain network that supports both current and future business needs.
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will collaborate closely with commercial, manufacturing, procurement, finance and related stakeholders across the region to deliver strong service levels and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and business objectives.
- Develop medium- and long-term supply and capacity plans to support customer demand and business growth.
- Drive inventory optimisation initiatives and deliver working capital targets, while maintaining service levels.
- Monitor and improve key supply chain performance indicators, including achieve inventory DOH/DIO targets, eliminate SMOG, achieve OTIF service levels, and forecast alignment.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure supply reliability and effective execution of business priorities.
- Lead mitigation planning and continuity strategies to minimise the impact of supply disruptions.
- Review and optimise stocking strategies to support changing business and customer requirements.
- Drive process standardisation, planning best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.
- Lead and develop the planning team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure high performance.
- Manage regional planning projects and provide regular updates and recommendations to leadership stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, operations, product management, or related functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree in a related discipline is advantageous.
- Strong expertise in S&OP, Demand & Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Distribution Planning, Supply Chain Optimisation.
- Proven regional planning experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team in different countries.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems such as Power BI and SAP.
- APICS certification will be an advantage.
