Job Summary:

Coforge is looking to appoint a dynamic and results driven Sales Director Hunting to spearhead business expansion efforts in Malaysia. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in IT sales, particularly in BFSI, Energy & Utilities, and Manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically identify, establish, and expand NN business, accelerating revenue growth to achieve double-digit figures
  • Develop winning propositions and collaborate with internal teams to drive successful outcomes
  • Engage proactively with C-level stakeholders, building long-term strategic relationships
  • Should be able to start a business from scratch and then grow this to double-digit figures in 2 to 3 years
  • Navigate market dynamics and IT spend across infrastructure, applications, and business process levels
  • Execute an individual contributor role, with the ability to scale operations over time
  • Ensure alignment with targets (TCV, Revenue, Profitability) and execute a forward-thinking sales strategy

Role Competencies:

  • 12+ years of experience, including at least 6 years in IT services sales
  • Strong background in multinational IT consulting organizations, with demonstrated success in sales/ hunting
  • Deep understanding of the Malaysia IT market, capable of leveraging networks to acquire new logos
  • Executive-level presence, skilled in high-stakes negotiations and relationship-building
  • Preference for candidates with consulting backgrounds and experience in solution selling over traditional TNM models
