Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager leads regional sales performance and dealer network operations to achieve business targets and drive sustainable growth. Working closely with dealer partners, the role develops and executes sales strategies, monitors market and inventory performance, enhances the customer journey, and identifies opportunities to improve commercial results. Success in this position requires building strong dealer relationships, optimizing sales processes, and delivering impactful promotional initiatives to strengthen the brand's presence across the region.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Performance
- Drive the achievement of regional sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Monitor regional sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions to maximize results.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and business reviews for management.
2. Dealer Network Management
- Manage and strengthen relationships with dealer partners, serving as the primary liaison between the company and the dealer network.
- Develop action plans with dealers and field teams to improve sales performance, operational efficiency, and achievement of annual targets.
- Evaluate dealer performance through regular reviews and provide recommendations to enhance business growth.
- Support dealer development initiatives, including network expansion and capability enhancement where required.
3. Sales Operations
- Monitor vehicle inventory levels across the region to ensure optimal stock availability, product mix, and inventory ageing control.
- Ensure consistent execution of sales processes, commercial policies, and operational standards across all dealerships.
- Continuously improve sales management systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance operational efficiency.
4. Customer Experience
- Drive Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) performance by ensuring excellent customer journey execution throughout the sales process.
- Monitor dealer performance in lead management, test drives, sales contracting, financing, and vehicle delivery to ensure a seamless customer experience.
5. Market Intelligence & Business Development
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer insights, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Recommend and implement initiatives to improve market competitiveness and increase market share.
6. Marketing & Events
- Lead the planning and execution of regional promotional campaigns, roadshows, and pop-up exhibitions to generate sales leads and enhance brand awareness.
- Coordinate exhibition planning, site selection, event setup, launch activities, and post-event performance analysis.
7. Leadership & Team Development
- Coach, mentor, and develop the regional sales team to strengthen sales capabilities and improve overall performance.
- Foster collaboration across internal departments and dealer partners to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sales and dealer network management.
- Established network and strong relationships with automotive dealer groups and dealerships.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, planning, coordination, and execution skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective business relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
