Job Description

Morgan Philips has recently partnered with a global FMCG giant, to hire for a Regional Sales Manager within West Malaysia. Our client comes with a highly recognized premium brand portfolio and a dominant market presence in Malaysia.

In this pivotal appointment, you will hold complete end-to-end accountability for regional business performance. This role demands a sophisticated blend of macro-level strategic planning and micro-level execution excellence, driving robust volume, revenue, and margin growth.

What you'll be involved in:

  • Convert corporate channel strategies into high-impact regional commercial roadmaps, taking full ownership of regional P&L outcomes, market share growth, and profitability targets.
  • Lead, govern, and audit partner distributor performance to guarantee maximum market penetration, service level compliance, and strict alignment with corporate commercial objectives.
  • Champion premium standards of in-market visibility, product availability, optimized promotional campaigns, and structured retail footprint expansion.
  • Manage regional trade investments and commercial budgets with high financial discipline, ensuring maximum ROI and optimized spend allocation.
  • Gather and synthesize market insights and competitor movements into actionable strategies to proactively capture new growth avenues

What you'll need:

  • Atleast 12 years of solid experience within the FMCG sector with a solid track record in leading and managing team performances
  • Deep operational familiarity with the Malaysian retail landscape, showcasing extensive experience managing Modern Trade, General Trade and multi-channel distributor networks.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing complex commercial P&Ls, optimized trade spend allocations, and data-driven market planning.
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities with a track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and managing complex stakeholder relations.
