Job Description
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential growth opportunities in regional target markets.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional expansion strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify key success factors, risks, and challenges associated with expanding into new regions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to adapt products, services, and marketing strategies to suit the Singapore markets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with potential business partners, industry associations, and government agencies in Singapore.
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities to facilitate market entry, distribution channels, and enhance brand presence.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard and integrate partners effectively.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in business development, market expansion, or a closely related role is preferred, though candidates with lesser experience are welcome to apply.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and execute successful regional expansion strategies.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with both internal cross-functional teams and external partners, clients, and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving abilities paired with a high level of attention to detail to analyze market trends, evaluate risks, and execute initiatives accurately.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of taking full ownership while working independently.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between Malaysia and Singapore.
