Job Summary
Support regional corporate account teams by managing after-sales care, pricing proposals, and data analysis to drive business development and revenue growth in the freight forwarding industry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver after-sales support to the regional corporate account team to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Review customer freight requests and select appropriate carriers to optimize logistics solutions
- Prepare competitive pricing proposals for spot and regular quotation requests, maintaining accurate cost records
- Compile and present data for Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to support strategic decision-making
- Provide data management and administrative support to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and capitalize on revenue growth opportunities
- Respond to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) from All-round and Specialized Freight Forwarders with up-to-date market-competitive prices
- Conduct targeted market research on specific areas or verticals to inform pricing and business strategies
- Assist in budget preparation and target setting exercises to align with business objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a regional portfolio in the freight forwarding industry
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in freight forwarding
