Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, spearhead product development by leveraging technology, data, partnerships, in order to execute and create best in class value propositions for our target customers.
- Own and manage full end to end product life cycle management, from ideation / conceptualization / iteration, pricing, profitability, financial strategies, portfolio analysis, system testing, go to market initiatives, pre and post launch activities and longer term sustainability.
- Be responsible for owning and driving the customer onboarding experience for our first products through innovative and differentiating funnels that leverage our ecosystem (where applicable) and provide a world-class onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with engineering, design and other stakeholders to define an ambitious strategy, develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, and execute on delivering delightful and impactful experiences for customers.
- Work collaboratively with other Product Managers to prioritize and build features that allow customers to self-serve to drive operational efficiencies but always with a customer-first mindset.
- Collaborate with engineering, design and other stakeholders to define an ambitious strategy, develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, and execute on delivering delightful and impactful experiences for customers.
- Define success metrics and consistently measure the impact of your work.
- Lead the team to deliver the roadmap through agile sprint cycles, breaking down the product roadmap into executable stories and requirements.
Requirements:
- 4-5+ years experience as a product manager with a tech software or financial services company.
- Have an understanding of banking operations.
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business, finance, economics or related fields.
- Demonstrable success in launching new products or features with clear metrics and impact; ideally in a fintech, ecommerce or startup environment.
- Healthy blend of strategic thinking capabilities with an innate dream big, start small mindset and an eagle eye for detail.
- Empathy for users and a drive to discover and resolve their pain points.
- Track record of strong prior product management experience, such as conceptualising and launching products to achieve strategic objectives, in addition to being able to manage a range of product portfolios over time.
- An analytical and a data-driven approach to problem solving.
- An owner's mindset - you don't shy away from the hard stuff.
- Passion for building delightful product experiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to quickly command trust and respect from executives and partners.
