Key Responsibilities
1.Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation
- Develop and execute the Regional Supply Chain Transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Continuously Identify and implement strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency, inventory performance, customer service, and profitability.
2.Inventory Planning & Working Capital Optimization
- Develop inventory strategies that balance service levels and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Managers and Country Managers to optimize stock holdings and improve inventory turnover.
- Monitor inventory movements and implement actions to reduce aged stock, stock provisions and inventory rationalization initiatives across the region.
- Lead initiatives focused on improving working capital efficiency.
3. Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Lead regional procurement and sourcing activities to achieve cost savings, quality, service objectives and supplier consolidation.
- Manage supplier sourcing, tendering, evaluation, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Foster collaboration across countries to maximise regional purchasing leverage.
4. Logistics & Warehouse Excellence
- Oversee regional logistics and warehousing operations to ensure cost-effective and reliable service delivery.
- Implement logistics transformation initiatives aimed at improving transportation efficiency and reducing landed cost.
5. Digital Supply Chain & Systems Enablement
- Drive digital transformation within the supply chain function that improve productivity and visibility.
- Promote and maximize SAP utilization, identify opportunities to improve process automation and reporting.
6. Performance Analytics & Business Insights
- Develop and maintain supply chain performance dashboards and reporting frameworks.
7. Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish robust supply chain governance and control frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
8. Leadership & Capability Development
- Build transformation capabilities within the organization through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive employee engagement and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
9. Key Strategic Priorities (Next 24 Months)
- Optimise inventory holdings and stock provisions while maintaining required service levels.
- Increase automation, leverage digital tools to improve productivity and analytics reporting.
- Build a capable, collaborative, and high-performing regional supply chain team.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or Operations.
- Proven experience leading supply chain transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing regional or multi-country operations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and supply chain technologies.
- Familiarity with hazardous substances management and regulatory requirements is advantageous.
