Position Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Direct Tax
1. Prepare monthly tax provisions for Singapore entities in accordance with local tax laws and
Group requirements.
2. Coordinate with tax agent on the preparation and timely submission of corporate income
tax returns.
3. Manage tax payments and ensure all liabilities are settled within statutory deadlines.
4. Perform book-to-tax adjustments and maintain tax basis balance sheets.
5. Provide accurate tax accounting information for financial reporting and audits.
6. Manage tax audit internally or work with tax agents on tax audit queries.
Indirect Tax
1. Coordinate with tax agent on the preparation and timely submission of GST returns in
compliance with Singapore regulations.
2. Coordinate with tax agent on fulfilling Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP)
and Major Exporter Scheme (MES) renewal requirements.
3. Support GST audits and respond to queries from authorities.
4. Preparation and timely submission of withholding tax return.
Statutory Reporting
1. Coordinate and prepare audited financial statements (AFS) for Singapore entities in line
with statutory requirements.
2. Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of
statutory audits.
Transfer Pricing Documentation
1. Coordinate with stakeholder to obtain information and timely preparation of financial input
for completion of transfer pricing documentation by global transfer pricing team and
external transfer pricing advisor.
Other Responsibilities
1. Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations in Blackline.
2. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
3. Support tax audits, business & transformation initiatives, and implementation of tax law
changes.
4. Process improvements and enhancements of efficiency and compliance.
5. Ensure compliance with Group records management and information risk requirements.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders for required alignment and support.
Position Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Singapore direct tax, indirect tax, and statutory
reporting.
Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Experience with SAP and tax reporting tools (e.g., CCHI) preferred.
Familiarity with US GAAP and local GAAP tax accounting is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and Copilot; knowledge of data analytics tools (Power Query,
Power BI) is a plus.
Tactful in communication and stakeholder engagement.
Proficient in English (both oral and written).
Ability to meet stringent deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
Independent, proactive, and detail oriented.
