Job Description

Location: Kuantan, Pahang

Full-time, client-facing role responsible for managing and developing business relationships with Business Banking clients, driving revenue growth, and expanding Islamic Banking product, including financing and non-financing portfolios – in East Coast Region (ECR). This role requires proactive client management, sales target achievement, and providing tailored financial solutions to corporate clients, offering a competitive salary and career development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and originate new financing relationships which involve preparation and presentation of full set of credit application for approval by the relevant approving authority.
  • To drive business growth, increase market share and the team/ Bank's profitability via continuously identifying opportunities and provide solutions to meet the customers needs through cross-selling of AmBank Group's whole suite of products and services.
  • Achieve the agreed budget/targets in total revenue, fee income, PBT, ROE for the team.
  • Market and manage key client relationships on a consultative approach by understanding the clients business and financing requirements.
  • Actively identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Ensure customers needs are met while maintaining Division's profitability.
  • Cross-sell products and services to increase clients share of wallet by developing an account plan in consultation with the relevant product specialists.
  • Negotiate and structure deals with clients. Provide holistic value-added solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing public bodies relationship.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank's operating and accounting policies, systems and procedures.
  • Report and make recommendations on any identified deficiency or areas requiring improvement in productivity or internal control.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate should preferably possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Banking, or a related field.
  • Candidates with credit certification and knowledge of Islamic banking products are preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of proven work experience in relationship management role, business credit processing and cross selling.
  • Expertise and knowledge in commercial banking products and services, financial analysis and credit write up.
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
