As the Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking) at Bank of China (M) Berhad, you will play a key role in managing the assigned corporate profiles and to market the Bank's products and services to suit clients needs. This full-time position is based in our Kuala Lumpur head office (also available at branches) and working closely with counterparts from Global Markets, Transaction Banking, Financial Institutions, and respective stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- To solicit, originate and on-board new corporate clients in accordance to Bank's risk appetite and to develop trustable relationship with the assigned portfolio to optimize profitability.
- To implement credit evaluation and structuring of credit facilities, negotiation of facility terms, preparation of credit proposal including analyzing client's overall financial situation; to identify risk factors through mitigation of justification and measures; to conduct customer profiling based on credit rating and conduct of accounts and other relevant information available.
- To complete credit review on a timely and accurate manner to ensure accounts are in proper and performing conditions; to identify potential red flags; to ensure compliance of covenants and healthy utilization of facilities and conduct of account.
- To prepare business strategy plan for accounts under his/her management and to keep abreast with the development in market and industry trend, outlook to ascertain threats and opportunities arising from the existing and potential portfolios.
Requirements
- Degree holder or above with major in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of banking experience (preferably in corporate banking related experience).
- Exposure and working knowledge in credit writing is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skill.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese will be preferred.
