Responsibilities:
- Grow business portfolio and managing existing business relationships through active marketing of the Bank's products and services under Corporate Banking.
- To produce the Bank's pre-lending reviews and/or credit evaluation reports in relation to application for financing under corporate finance portfolio that comply with internal and external standards, risk and compliance requirements.
- To maximize customer profitability through disciplined relationship management.
- To develop knowledge of the Bank's products and services through internal trainings and external networking.
- To liaise with external intermediaries (such as lawyers, investment banks and independent advisors) and other internal departments during execution of transactions.
- To assist in financial advisory (e.g. cash flow/financing models, valuation support and analysis) to the customers for the financing application, where applicable.
- To assist in researching, preparing and supporting sales/pitches for new business and proposals (on ad hoc basis assignment).
- To keep abreast with socio economic, policy and capital markets development related to the department portfolio.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in relevant fields.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in Corporate Banking or relevant fields.
- Expert in Credit Proposal/Report Writing & Annual Reviews
- Ability to structure financial solutions/advice to clients.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the business environment and Malaysian economy.
