About the Role
This is a pivotal, client-facing position dedicated to acquiring, managing, and strengthening relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and affluent clients. The primary objective is to deliver holistic, sophisticated wealth advisory services with a strong emphasis on specialized investment solutions, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
What You Will Do
- Serve as the single point of contact for high-net-worth clients, fulfilling their financial and banking needs through tailored financial planning and customized wealth solutions.
- Drive achievement of assigned sales and business targets.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to ensure sales activities align with overall business direction and regularly review performance.
- Expand Assets Under Management (AUM), fee income, profitability, and customer base through active acquisition and prospecting of new-to-bank (NTB) high-net-worth individuals.
- Deepen client relationships by increasing wallet share via cross-selling of bank products, including wealth, investment (Unit Trust/PRS) and structured solutions.
- Source and secure new business opportunities while building strong rapport with clients.
- Conduct joint sales and marketing initiatives with the Manager to maximize outreach and impact.
- Retain existing clients and strengthen loyalty through effective cross-selling and relationship management.
- Consistently deliver high-quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations, guided by service level agreements, efficient processes, and sound business judgment.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Bank's policies, internal controls, regulatory requirements, and AMLA/CFT standards.
- Provide proactive customer service and follow-up to maintain satisfaction and trust.
- Resolve client complaints and feedback promptly within agreed turnaround times (TAT).
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- MUST minimum of 3 years proven experience in Relationship Managementor sales within the Banking/Financial Services sector in Malaysia, with astrong track record in wealth product sales.
- MUST obtain valid professional licenses/certifications required by Malaysian regulators (e.g.,UT, FIMM, IPPC/PCE, TBE, or equivalent for wealth and investment products).
- In-depth knowledge of current compliance, regulatory requirements, and AMLA/CFT practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong digital literacy.
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments.
- Strong multitasking skills with excellent organizational ability & able to work independently.
- Exceptional command of English, with polished communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to speak Mandarin, English and Malay.
