We are partnering with a German MNC company specializing in high-performance industrial adhesives and chemical solutions, with a strong presence across international markets. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an R&D Manager to lead product development initiatives, drive innovation, and support the expansion of their technical capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee technical functions and initiatives within the organization.
- Drive new product development, including raw material qualification, alternative sourcing, and product transfer activities.
- Manage customer technical inquiries and claims, and support commercial teams with technical expertise.
- Act as a key technical representative in communications with customers, suppliers, and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Ensure alignment and achievement of departmental KPIs at both local and global levels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the R&D team, including performance and capability building.
- Ensure team adherence to safety, environmental, and compliance standards, including proper handling of chemicals and waste.
- Support implementation of HSE policies, environmental programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering (Plastics, Packaging, Wood Technology), or related field.
- Strong knowledge of the chemical industry, particularly in adhesive manufacturing.
- Structured, reliable, and consistent working style.
- Able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate effectively within a team.
