Role Description and Benefits

This position is a full-time, on-site role located at Monash University Malaysia in Petaling Jaya. The position is for a Research Assistant working on a project focused on converting agricultural waste into valuable products.

Responsibilities include assisting with various research activities, conducting experiments and analyses, collecting and managing data, and preparing reports and presentations based on the findings.

The Research Assistant will receive a monthly stipend of up to RM2800, with a contract duration of up to one year. There is also an opportunity for further postgraduate study during the Research Assistantship.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering). Experience in a research-based environment is advantageous. Students who are expected to graduate soon are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent research and data analysis skills.
  • Capable of conducting experiments and accurately interpreting the results.
  • Capable of working collaboratively and clearly communicating findings in both written and verbal formats.
