We are urgently looking to bring an ambitious and smart Research Executive to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs deep evaluation and research of mainstream and social media data (article coding/ ticket sentiment analysis) and provides written summaries in English and Bahasa Malaysia for client report production using a quantitative methodology.
- Works closely with other Research Executives and Research Manager to ensure the overall quality of data.
- Ensures data is coded and tagged accurately in a timely manner to meet the deadlines.
Requirements:
- Degree in Communications, Communications Research, Business, Statistics, Journalism or other related Social Sciences.
- Preferably with 1-2 years experience in media, market research or related industry.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent reading, comprehension, and analytical skills with an ability to summarise key issues and themes from media articles as well as organise and prioritise work according to tight deadlines.
- Strong interest in news and current affairs.
- Permanent Full-time position: 1
- Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (Malaysian time)
- Working Setup: Hybrid Setup
- Can start as soon as possible.
Recruitment process & Package:
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake a technical test.
- Candidates who aced the technical test will be invited for 1-3 interviews.
- Regularisation will be granted after successfully completing a 3-month probationary period.
