Job Description

Responsibilities

  • This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
  • Design and implement AI for software engineering solutions.
  • Conduct evaluations and/or user studies to validate the effectiveness of the algorithms and tools.
  • Write and publish research papers and present them to reputable academic conferences.
  • Package the documents, implementation code, evaluation results of the project for public release.
  • Liaise with other team members of this project to realize the overall goal of the project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum a PhD degree in Information Systems / Computer Science / Information Technology / Security /Informatics Engineering / Computer Engineer / Software Engineering.
  • Publication of at least three first-authored papers in top AI or software engineering or cybersecurity conferences/journals (SCIS A* or CCF A).
  • Excellent knowledge about software engineering and artificial intelligence.
  • Highly fluent in Python and Java.
  • Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members.
  • Able to work under strict deadlines.
  • Research capability as evidenced by tangible deliverables i.e., at least three first-authored papers in SCIS-A* orCCF A conference / journal in the field of AI or software engineering.
