ExxonMobil in Malaysia
In Malaysia, we host a global business and technology center in Kuala Lumpur that provides high-level information technology and engineering expertise to ExxonMobil's Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses worldwide. In the upstream, we have interests in two Production Sharing Contracts with PETRONAS, while in the Product Solutions business, we supply a portfolio of specialty chemical products to the marketplace.
We are seeking qualified and experienced individuals to provide Reservoir Engineering technical support and expertise to optimize asset development and operations, leveraging reservoir engineering skills in reservoir description, development planning, opportunity generation and production optimization.
We are recruiting Reservoir Simulation Engineers with 5 to 15 years experience to join our team. The role is based in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will work closely with our global Technical and Operations teams to support ExxonMobil's global portfolio. The position may also require flexibility to work outside standard office hours when business needs arise, especially when coordinating with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
The Reservoir Simulation Engineer is responsible for building, maintaining, and running dynamic reservoir models to predict reservoir performance and optimize field development plans. This role focuses on integrating surface and subsurface data into simulation models to support decision-making.
