We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to provide onsite and remote Level 3 technical support for Aruba Networking solutions, particularly Aruba ClearPass. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring operational stability, troubleshooting critical issues, supporting project implementation activities, and maintaining high availability of network access control systems across multiple data centre locations.
Working Arrangement
- Onsite support: 5 days per week during office hours
- Standby support: Unlimited standby coverage for planned and unplanned activities, including remote and onsite support

Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote Level 3 technical support for Aruba Networking ClearPass during daily operations and project implementation activities.
- Manage, maintain, and support Aruba ClearPass components, access management, and related integrations within the enterprise environment.
- Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, preventive maintenance, and performance optimization to ensure system stability and availability.
- Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve issues related to:
- Access authentication
- Device enrolment
- Compliance policies
- Application deployment
- Network access control
- Support planned and unplanned activities including:
- System upgrades
- Patch management
- Configuration changes
- Emergency recovery activities
- Coordinate with principals or authorized support teams for complex technical issue resolution and escalation management.
- Maintain operational documentation including:
- SOPs
- Technical runbooks
- Architecture diagrams
- Configuration documentation
- Maintain and update daily operational logbooks covering:
- Activities performed
- Inspections
- Incidents
- Meetings
- System changes
- Provide continuous knowledge transfer, mentoring, and technical guidance to internal technical teams.
- Ensure backup support availability when the primary Resident Engineer is unavailable during planned or unplanned activities.
Requirements
- Minimum hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure and networking portfolio support.
- Strong technical expertise in Aruba Networking solutions, especially Aruba ClearPass.
- Experience in Level 3 troubleshooting and support for enterprise network environments.
- Familiarity with network authentication protocols, NAC solutions, and enterprise security integrations.
- Experience handling critical incidents, troubleshooting, and escalation management.
