Job Description
We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join our hardware operations team in Malaysia. You will be responsible for Day 2 operations of cutting-edge enterprise hardware infrastructure including Dell PowerEdge XE servers, Dell PowerScale F710 storage, Vertiv CDU liquid cooling systems, and NVIDIA licensing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Day 2 hardware operations – patching, monitoring, performance checking, and utilization reporting
- Monitor hardware health, performance metrics, and capacity utilization
- Generate operational reports on hardware status and incidents
- Manage Control and Management Nodes
- Administer NVIDIA licensing systems
- Support East-west Network, Converged & OOB Network operations
- Manage Flash & HDD Object Storage Networks
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with enterprise hardware (servers, storage, or data center)
- Experience with Dell PowerEdge XE servers or similar enterprise hardware
- Knowledge of storage systems (PowerScale/Isilon preferred)
- Familiarity with data center cooling systems (Vertiv CDU or similar)
- Strong monitoring, patching, and reporting skills
- Malaysian citizen or valid work authorization
- Willing to work onsite in Johor, MY.
