Resident Host (Guest Relations / Concierge)
Join the opening team of Soori Penang, a new ultra-luxury heritage hotel in the heart of George Town. We are looking for a warm, polished and service-focused Resident Host to welcome our guests and guide them through a personalised and memorable stay.
This role is ideal for individuals with guest relations, concierge, butler, or premium cabin crew experience — those who genuinely enjoy hosting, anticipating needs, and creating meaningful guest moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure smooth check-in and check-out.
- Assist guests throughout their stay with dining, transport, and activity arrangements.
- Create personalised itineraries highlighting George Town's culture, heritage, and local artisans.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Culinary teams to deliver seamless service.
- Respond promptly to guest requests with discretion and professionalism.
- Maintain guest privacy and ensure a calm, refined guest experience at all times.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or related field.
- Experience in guest relations, concierge services, butler service, or premium airline cabin service preferred.
- Warm, composed, well-presented, and attentive to detail.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Deep knowledge of Penang's culture, food, and hidden gems is highly valued.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
