Job Description

Job Summary:

The Outlet manager at Black Tap's overall responsibility for the operational and financial performance of the restaurant. This senior leadership position involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, service excellence and driving business growth. The Outlet Manager will lead a dynamic team, implement exemplary standards of service, and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain the excellence associated with the Black Tap brand.

Roles & responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

Oversee and manage all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring the highest levels of service, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Implement and uphold Black Tap's standards for food & beverage quality, presentation, and service.

Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth and seamless operations.

Guest Experience

Leading from the front, to ensure an unparalleled guest experience by maintaining premium service standards, high energy work environment and attending to guest feedback.

Regularly interact with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive upbeat dining experience.

Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu offerings meet and exceed guest expectations.

Financial Management:

Assist with the development and management of budgets, financial reports, and cost control measures to maximize profitability.

Monitor and analyse key financial metrics, such as sales, expenses, and labour costs.

Implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance overall financial performance.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.

Motivate and inspire the team to achieve high levels of performance and guest satisfaction.

Marketing and Promotion:

Collaborate with the EAM F&B and marketing teams to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives to drive traffic and revenue.

Utilize social media and other marketing channels to enhance the restaurant's online presence and engage with guests.

Participate in community events, brand partnerships and OCS to promote the restaurant.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements.

Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to employee conduct, safety, and hygiene.

Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions

Skills & experience:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in venue management, with a proven track record of success in a busy vibe dining establishment.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding the standards of a renowned famous international brand.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
