We are looking for a Retail Asset Manager to lead the repositioning and commercialization of CityWalk, i-City Shah Alam.
We are seeking a commercially driven staff member with strong leasing, tenant mix, activation, and retail turnaround capabilities to unlock the next phase of growth for CityWalk - a lifestyle and entertainment retail destination integrated with attractions, tourism, and a growing residential ecosystem.
Given the proposed profit-sharing remuneration package, the interview process for the successful candidate may involve the following:
Preliminary Assessment
The retail manager will conduct an initial commercial assessment covering occupancy, rental positioning, tenant mix, footfall potential, and retail opportunities.
Retail Turnaround Proposal
Following the assessment, we would like to discuss the potential retail manager's proposed commercialization and turnaround strategy, including projected NOI improvement over an anticipated 2-year horizon.
Probationary period
An initial KPI-driven appointment focused on forward indicators such as:
• Tenants secured
• LOIs / leases signed
• Tenant mix enhancement
• Activation and commercialization initiatives
Full Appointment
Subject to KPI delivery, we propose to offer a profit-sharing component linked to incremental NOI improvement achieved during the appointment period.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can help reposition CityWalk into a stronger lifestyle, entertainment, F&B, tourism, and experiential retail destination aligned with the future direction of i-City and AI World.
