We are seeking a proactive Retail Executive to support our wholesale business operations. In this role, you will manage physical reseller relationships, drive distribution growth, and ensure operational excellence across our wholesale network in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Distribution: Support the company's wholesale business by increasing product distribution and executing sales and marketing programs to achieve monthly revenue and category targets.
  • Reseller Management: Manage assigned resellers and ensure adherence to merchandising standards and operational workflow guidelines.
  • Relationship Building: Conduct regular site visits to provide excellent service and maintain strong rapport with resellers to secure orders for the full product range.
  • Merchandising Excellence: Ensure all products, pricing, and promotional materials are displayed accurately according to brand guidelines and activation schedules.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process wholesale orders and coordinate timely shipments through Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor HQ stock levels to ensure they meet wholesale demand and collaborate with the Buying team on purchase cycles.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as a liaison between 3PL and the Finance department to resolve issues regarding merchandise shortages, discrepancies, or returns.
  • Onboarding & Training: Facilitate the setup of new resellers and conduct product training sessions to ensure partners are well-equipped to sell.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience in retail operations, wholesale account management, or sales. Candidates from the FMCG, beauty, or consumer goods industries are highly preferred.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in spoken Mandarin to effectively communicate and build relationships with Mandarin-speaking retail owners and stakeholders. English & Bahasa Malaysia professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Malay is required for internal reporting and coordination with various departments.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and maintain long-term business partnerships.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driving license, with the willingness to travel frequently to visit reseller locations.
  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently to meet targets while maintaining high attention to detail in administrative tasks.
