Retail Interior Architect, APAC

Job Summary

We are seeking a multi-talented Interior Design Architect who is experienced in 3D rendering, architectural drafting, and M&E planning. The candidate should be capable of handling interior layout proposals, 3D visuals, technical plan drafting, and coordinating with M&E consultants to ensure accurate and compliant submissions.

Optional but Valuable:

• Experience with authority submissions in Malaysia
• Able to manage contractors or site works
• Familiar with BIM workflows

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Interior Design

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture
• Experience in space planning, material selection, finishes, etc.
• Understanding of local interior design trends and codes (especially in Malaysia)

3D Rendering

• Proficiency in 3D software like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, or Lumion
• Rendering engines like V-Ray, Enscape, or Twinmotion
• Able to create realistic renders and walkthroughs

Architectural Structuring

• Strong knowledge of building structure concepts
• Experience working with civil/structural engineers
• Understands load-bearing walls, ceiling/floor structures, etc.

M&E (Mechanical & Electrical)

• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical layout, plumbing, and lighting systems
• Ability to coordinate with M&E consultants
• Experience in M&E drawing preparation using AutoCAD or Revit MEP

Drafting & Technical Planning

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD
• Able to create detailed construction drawings
• Knowledge of local regulations and submission standards (e.g., to DBKL or MBPJ)
