About the role
Zeve International Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Operation Executive (Retails) to join our dynamic team in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position is crucial in supporting the overall operations and growth of our retail business. As the Operation Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our retail processes to ensure seamless customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily retail operations across all outlets to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor store readiness, visual presentation, cleanliness, stock availability, and service standards
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies, and operational procedures
- Track and analyze retail KPIs including sales, conversion rate, average transaction value, units per transaction, and staff productivity
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational and performance reports for management review
- Monitor stock movement, stock replenishment, branch transfers, fast-moving items, and slow-moving inventory
- Work closely with outlet teams and warehouse to improve stock accuracy and minimize out-of-stock situations
- Support Store Managers and Supervisors in resolving operational issues and maintaining store discipline
- Coordinate with internal teams including warehouse, HR, marketing, and e-commerce to support retail operations
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and store performance
- Support staff onboarding, training coordination, and follow-up on operational standards
- Carry out ad hoc duties and projects assigned by management from time to time
Qualifications
- Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail operations or supply chain management role
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting and process improvement methodologies
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
