For People Who Want More Than a Normal Retail Job
At Bomb Battle, we create high-energy, memorable experiences for families, friends, corporate teams, and adventure seekers. Behind every great session is a team that keeps the outlet safe, smooth, welcoming, and well-coordinated.
This role is for someone who wants to grow into stronger operations and outlet leadership responsibilities. You do not need to be excellent at everything from day one — we will train you on our outlet flow, systems, service standards, event coordination, inquiry handling, and team routines. What matters most is that you are coachable, hands-on, resilient, and ready to take ownership while you grow. You will be trusted with real operational responsibilities and expected to lead by example on the floor.
Why This Role Matters:
Great operations do not happen by accident. Customers remember how they were welcomed, how smoothly their group was managed, how clearly the team communicated, how safe the experience felt, and how problems were handled when things did not go perfectly. Your role is to help make every guest experience safe, structured, energetic, and memorable — while keeping the outlet clean, ready, efficient, and aligned with service standards.
What You'll Do:
Guest Experience & Floor Control
- Welcome customers warmly, manage guest flow, support walk-ins, guide groups, and help ensure every visit feels professional, organised, and enjoyable.
- Communicate with families, kids, corporate clients, and different types of customers — including during busy or challenging moments.
Outlet Operations & SOP Standards
- Support cleanliness, outlet presentation, safety readiness, cashiering, reconciliation, inventory tracking, supply coordination, and SOP checks.
- Be flexible and agile during busy periods, but still disciplined with critical SOPs and safety standards.
Event & Marshal Coordination
- Assist in planning and executing celebration parties, team-building and corporate events to deliver seamless flow and strong guest experience.
- This includes arranging marshals, managing event flow, supporting walk-ins, and stepping in when the team needs extra hands during peak periods.
Inquiry Handling & Follow-Up
- Assist with customer inquiries, quotations, invoices, follow-ups, and tracking leads through Google Sheets or basic CRM.
- This requires patience and consistency. Some customers take time to decide, some leads go quiet, and follow-up still needs to be done patiently and properly.
Team Support & Training
- Support new ground staff, guide marshals, reinforce service standards, and help the team improve through example.
- Lead by example — You do not need a manager title to lead, but you must be the kind of person who naturally helps others stay focused, organised, and positive.
Operational Improvement
- Observe the customer journey and identify where the experience can be improved.
- This may include better guest flow, clearer communication, smoother event setup, cleaner handovers, stronger tracking, better staff deployment, or more efficient daily routines.
You'll Enjoy This Role If You:
- Enjoy a fast-moving, people-facing environment
- Like being on the floor, not only behind a desk
- Take pride in good hospitality and customer experience
- Can stay calm when customers, crowds, or situations become difficult
- Are organised enough to track details properly
- Can guide others without needing a formal title
- Are hands-on and willing to cross-cover when needed
- Can balance flexibility with SOP discipline
- Want to grow into stronger operations or outlet leadership responsibilities
This Role May Not Suit You If You:
- Want a simple, relaxed retail counter job
- Dislike weekend or peak-period work
- Get easily discouraged by challenging moments
- Need constant reminders before completing tasks
- Prefer fixed routines and dislike live operational changes
What We Need From You:
- Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin is an added advantage
- Comfortable working hands-on in a playful, energetic environment
- Able to stay calm, structured, and professional with customers and team members
- Good hospitality mindset and welcoming attitude
- Able to manage customer flow and support event coordination
- Careful with cashiering, stock, follow-ups, and SOP details
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn Google Sheets, CRM, POS, or basic systems
- Coachable, receptive to feedback, and willing to improve
- Willing to support and train new ground staff
- Weekend work is required, as that is when the action happens most
Backgrounds That May Fit Well:
You may be a good fit if you have experience in retail, entertainment, client servicing, communications, or event planning. We are open to different backgrounds as long as you are service-oriented, structured, resilient, hands-on, and serious about growing into a stronger operations role.
What You'll Get:
- Annual Leave
- Performance Bonus
- EPF / SOCSO / PCB
- Medical and Hospitalisation Leave
- Overtime Pay
- Full Training Provided
- Real exposure to operations, events, customer experience, inquiry handling, and team coordination
- A pathway to grow through performance, ownership, and attitude
