Job Description

Join us as our Retail Operations Manager and lead our dynamic retail teams to success!

We are also working alongside brand partners such as Apple, Devialet, Hotlink, Bruno, and Jura.

What is the role about

  • To manage retail operations of delegated stores and departmental stores consignment counters and to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing teams to translate commercial plans into retail execution.
  • Monitor sell-out performance, productivity, conversion, and footfall; recommend corrective actions.
  • Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and key retail events.
  • Establish good working relationships with the shopping mall leasing team
  • Establish good working relationships and network with departmental stores, merchandisers and buyers
  • Secure and operate fair events at departmental stores
  • Generating and analyzing sales data and relevant financials and sales performance reports.
  • To initiate measures for the optimization of resources to manage expenses in all business areas without compromising on productivity.
  • Responsible for ensuring stock inventory is within the approved level.
  • Responsible to ensure minimal stock loss at all outlets.
  • Visit competitors stores and to provide updates of market situation.
  • Visit own stores regularly to ensure full compliance of operation SOP, staff discipline and stores cleanliness and upkeeping
  • Coach and mentor the Shop I/Cs in performing their day-to-day tasks, ensuring goals, KPI's and training plans are clear, managed and aligned with the plan.
  • Lead and motivate Shop I/Cs to provide an excellent level of service to internal and external customers and to embed a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure manpower planning, scheduling, and performance management meet business needs.
  • Resolve any technical issues affecting operations.

Are you the one

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the retail industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysia's modern trade and specialty retail landscape.
  • Proven experience in managing retail staff at scale.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical skills (sell-out, productivity, KPIs).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Hands-on, execution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to travel within Malaysia for store visits on a regular basis.
