Retail Specialist – TECNO Malaysia
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Retail Executive to support retail sales operations and enhance brand presence across assigned retail outlets. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the smartphone, mobile device, consumer electronics, or telecommunications industry. This role will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing retail execution, maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, and ensuring excellent in-store brand visibility.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with retail partners to drive sales growth and strengthen brand presence
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure product availability, merchandising standards, pricing compliance, and visibility of TECNO products
- Monitor sell-out performance and support retail partners in achieving sales targets
- Coordinate and execute retail promotions, product launches, and in-store marketing activities
- Supervise promoter performance, provide product training, and ensure effective customer engagement
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and consumer trends, and provide regular feedback to management
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in retail sales, channel sales, or retail operations, preferably in the smartphone or consumer electronics industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skill
- Good understanding of retail operations and sales execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Willing to travel frequently and possess own transportation
Preferred
- Experience managing retail channels, promoters, or dealer networ
- Familiarity with Malaysia's smartphone retail market
