Job Summary

Our client is looking for a seasoned and charismatic retail leader to oversee and drive sales and delivery operations at their flagship location. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the overall management and sales execution, recruitment, training, and development of a dynamic store team. You will set the standard for open communication, active problem solving, and a positive work environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on coach with strong business acumen, a constant drive for performance improvement, and a strong understanding of numbers and KPIs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive business and maximize sales through customer service, product knowledge, merchandise presentation and promotion
  • Implement all operational policies and procedures to satisfy the needs of the customer while helping our client achieve its goals
  • Lead the interviewing and recruitment of candidates who possess the skills necessary to help achieve store goals
  • Train and develop staff to consistently perform to company standards
  • Lead in the planning, implementation, and follow up of store operational tasks and projects including but not limited to outbound events and sales networking activities
  • Control store expenses, including staffing, supplies, and services
  • Manage and adhere to processes regarding merchandise display and physical inventory
  • Experiment with and promote daily workflow efficiency improvements within the local team, sharing proven best practices with peers and management
  • Represent the company in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with others both inside and outside the organisation
  • Manage and drive the performance of the sales team, ensuring strong sales performance, robust customer pipelines, and excellent customer satisfaction ratings at store level
  • Perform other related duties as assigned based on business need

Requirements

  • 8+ years of working experience in retail, industry, and key account sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and goals
  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience
  • Excellent business development and business negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset — sensitive to sales data and facts with excellent logic analysis ability
  • Self-starter with exceptional time management skills and great attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure, manage a team, and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional self-management and self-learning ability
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation
  • Passionate dedication and ethical approach to sales management and operations
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience with retail store operations and systems

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in premium retail, tech retail, or experience-led consumer environments
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
  • Exposure to high-growth or startup environments with a lean, agile team culture
  • Experience running outbound sales events or community engagement activations
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop high-performing sales individuals
