This role owns the daily performance of the Risk & Trading Operations function in KL.
You'll manage a team responsible for risk surveillance, trade monitoring, client profiling, and system operations, while also overseeing MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) servers and related trading infrastructure. You're the bridge between local execution and HQ expectations. If something breaks, gets risky, or looks off, it lands on your radar first.
What You'll Be DoingTeam Leadership & Operational Oversight
You'll lead and develop a small Risk & Trading Ops team, handling:
- Scheduling and performance management
- Training and task delegation
- Daily execution of risk monitoring activities
- Escalations when things get serious (or suspiciously quiet)
MT4 & MT5 Administration
- Manage all aspects of MT4 and MT5 platform administration and configuration, including account creation, management, balance, and credit transactions, rebate account configuration, and reconciliation.
- Oversee swaps and rollover administration, as well as general transaction reconciliation and reporting
Risk Management and Analytics
- Provide analytical, transaction, and risk management support to Sales and Trading, specifically related to derivatives and securities transactions
- Conduct global trade and position reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of derivatives flows, liquidity providers position and cash reconciliation.
Trade Flow and Operational Risk Management
- Ensure accurate market configuration, account opening, and cash settlement processes.
- Resolve complex trade flow problems through an in-depth evaluation of procedures and industry standards.
- Support trade capture management, front-to-back reconciliation, operational risk identification, and settlement forecasts.
Platform Integration and Optimization
- A basic understanding of management of the oneZero hub, ensuring seamless operations between liquidity providers and the trading platform.
- Contribute to the integration of new trading platforms and third-party software, ensuring that all are fully operational within the existing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with API specialists to ensure smooth integration and comprehensive testing of new platforms.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the development of new techniques related to the trade lifecycle, improving processes and workflow across the trading operations.
- Escalate control gaps and issues to leadership and implement procedures and solutions to mitigate risk.
- Enhance operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall service delivery
Skills and Experiences:
What We're Looking For
5+ years in brokerage, trading ops, or risk exposure
Experience in managing a team would be preferred but not compulsory
Strong MT4/MT5 experience from a broker ops or infrastructure side
Hands-on exposure to risk systems such as oneZero, ARMS, PRISM, or similar
Strong communication skills with global/regional teams
Nice to Have
- Server management experience for trading systems
- Understanding of margin, client risk models, OTC derivatives
- SQL, Excel automation, or data analytics skills
- The ability to stay calm when everything is not calm
