About the role
As an RPA Automation Engineer at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad, you will play a key role in driving the company's digital transformation initiatives. Based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, this full-time position will involve leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies to streamline and optimise various business processes across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Automate business processes using RPA technology (UiPath) ranging from Simple to Complex processes
- Provide recommendations on Best Development Practices and implementation solutions for RPA
- Work with business teams to understand the business process requirements, analysis and assess automation feasibility. Assist in creating the business case
- Work closely with SME's and Vendors to analyse and design solutions based on business requirements
- Preparation and facilitation of process design sessions related to robotics process, validation rules and reports.
- Develop, test and implement in-scope processes
- Developing, configuring programs, scripts are well structured, maintainable and easy to understand
- Provide necessary support to internal stakeholders for issue resolution and enhancements
- Supporting existing bots and implement change requirements
- Configuration of RPA process components, exception handling, audit logs and etc.
- Managing Robotics projects end to end by using Robotics tools and Techniques.
- Develop and maintain effective project management controls to ensure that agreed delivery times and functionality are met for Operations and Business teams.
- Maintain adequate controls and tracking process to ensure audit requirements are fully met at all times for all projects.
- Identify and resolve resource constraints and bottlenecks, and raise issues to project stakeholders at earliest opportunity to minimize any potential risk
- Develop and manage expectations of Stakeholders in terms of functionality and delivery times for solutions.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development and implementation
- Strong programming skills in RPA platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere
- Programming/Scripting Languages: C#, .Net, Python, JavaScript and HTML
- Proficient in process analysis, process design, and process optimisation
- Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand and address their automation needs
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with financial services industry processes and regulations is highly desirable
