Description
- Manage end-to-end RTR activities, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end/quarter-end/year-end close * Perform GL maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances * Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS / local GAAP * Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements * Support external and internal audits by providing schedules, explanations, and documentation * Coordinate with AP, AR, Tax, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate financial data flow * Drive period-end close efficiency and continuous process improvements * Support intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and settlements * Prepare statutory and management reports as required
Profile
A Successful Candidate Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment in Kuala Lumpur.
- Prior experience in the business services industry is an advantage.
