About The Role
The Record-to-Report (RTR) & Corporate Reporting, Accounting Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with local and DFI Group accounting standards, policies and requirements.
The role supports the end-to-end RTR and Corporate Reporting processes, ensuring that appropriate systems, documentation and compliance procedures are in place to deliver accurate and high-quality financial information to stakeholders.
The Senior Analyst is also responsible for meeting agreed service levels (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), while ensuring all reporting activities are completed within local and Group timelines and in compliance with relevant policies.
- Work closely with the local accounting team and BPO partner across key RTR activities, including Trial Balance, General Ledger, Inventory, IFRS 16, Bank/Cash and Corporate Reporting.
- Support the Finance Controller in overseeing month-end closing, ensuring financial records are accurate, complete and closed within the required timelines.
- Prepare timely and accurate statutory financial statements, Group management reporting and local regulatory reporting.
- Ensure compliance with DFI accounting policies, the Company Accounting Manual and relevant local accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the BPO partner, investigate outstanding items and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
- Prepare SRS-to-Statutory Accounts reconciliations and support Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA) and master data changes.
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate interim, year-end and corporate audit requirements to ensure timely completion and filing.
- Support compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, including tax computations, IRB enquiries and tax audits, in partnership with the DFI Tax team and Finance Controller.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners and FP&A teams to analyse actual financial performance and provide relevant financial insights.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships across Finance and other business functions and support the achievement of agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve processes, increase efficiency and deliver cost savings across the RTR and Corporate Reporting processes.
- Maintain appropriate archiving requirements and controls to ensure corporate records are available when required by relevant authorities.
- Support ad-hoc projects, including store expansion and company set-up activities from an RTR perspective.
About You
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience, preferably within a Finance Shared Services environment.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience in Record-to-Report (RTR), General Ledger, month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Exposure to statutory reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, audit and financial controls.
- Experience with SAP FICO (General Ledger) is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with good attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
