- Manage the record-to-report (RTR) processes, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team to achieve performance targets and maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and insights to auditors.
- Ensure the team meets deadlines and delivers on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Profile
A Successful RTR Team Lead Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
