About The Role

Reports to: Head of QSE Management

What You'll Do

To coordinate and support the implementation of workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with legal and company safety requirements while assisting in risk mitigation and maintaining a safe working environment for employees, contractors, visitors, and company assets.

  • Implement, monitor, maintain and improve Safety and corporate compliances of KORE & ATR Requirements
  • To assist in ensuring Safety local legal authorities requirements & compliance, KORE & ATR
  • To conduct daily toolbox QSE sharing
  • To conduct weekly Food Safety & QSE walkabout and internal QSE audits
  • To establish schedule and conduct weekly QSE training (Based on Coca-Cola QSE linked KORE requirements, ATR and local government requirements)
  • Plan, manage and track S&S related tests and monitoring to ensure continued compliance with the relevant legal requirements
  • To investigate any accident, first aid case, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which has happened in the place of work
  • To coordinate & updating with all stakeholders on HIARO on annual basis, as & when required
  • To conduct safety induction training to new employees and also for new contractors
  • To assist in implementing effective contractor management system by understanding all aspects of PTW (Permit to Work) functions including job risk assessments, isolation risk assessments and etc.
  • To engage & monitor together with area owners on safety equipment inspection (e.g. ladder, chemical spill kits, first aid kits, shower & eye wash, firefighting equipment, machine guarding, safety interlocks, etc)
  • To participate in the Internal Auditor program for Quality, Food Safety, Safety & Environment Management System.
  • To assist Senior QSE Manager in managing all S&S related matters in CCBM.
  • To execute S&S awareness, maintain and develop safety mindset & trainings.
  • To revise and develop SOP and work instructions to ensure a safe workplace
  • To assist the EOSHS committee in any inspection of the place of work for the purposes of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with the Act or any regulations made under the Act.
  • Execute & ensure Quality, Health, Safety & Environment are in place according to Coca-Cola guidelines & local requirements

What You Bring

  • Candidate must possess at least a degree in Safety / OSHAS management or certified by DOSH for safety and health officer
  • Minimum 3-5 years related experiences, good knowledge of safety, experience in manufacturing environment is an added advantage
  • Computer literate and well verse in Power Point, Words and Excel
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, writing and speaking
  • Familiar with QSE regulations and requirements
  • Possess skills to deliver training on safety
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System, Food Safety, ISO 14001: 2015 & ISO 45000 is an added advantage
