Our client is seeking a Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Executive or Manager to join their team in Pulau Indah, Selangor. The position level will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations within the workplace and the free trade area.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to government and local authorities laws and regulations related to safety, health, and environment at the workplace, free trade area, and tenant premises.
- Advise the employer and tenants of the free trade area on measures to be taken in the interest of safety and health of persons employed at the workplace, free trade area, and tenant premises.
- Advise the employer and tenants on measures related to pollution prevention, abatement, control, and environmental enhancement.
- Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, or occupational diseases that occur at the workplace, free trade area, and tenant premises.
- Prepare investigation reports and recommend remedial measures to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain statistics on accidents, near-miss incidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, or occupational diseases at the workplace, free trade area, and tenant premises.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 QMS and ISO 45001:2018 OSH MS.
- Assist the employer in organizing and implementing safety, health, and environmental programs within the facilities.
- Submit JKKP 8 online to DOSH via MyKKP before 31st January each year.
- Review and approve tenant requests to handle dangerous goods (DG) in the free trade area.
- Act as Liaison Officer for matters related to safety, health, and environment at the workplace, free trade area, and tenant premises.
- Responsible for overall planning and implementation of Environment, Occupational Safety, and Health matters within workplaces.
- Advise the employer or person in charge on safety and health measures for employees.
- Inspect workplaces to assess machinery, equipment, substances, processes, or manual labor practices.
- Investigate any workplace accidents, near-miss incidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, or diseases.
- Assist the safety and health committee in workplace inspections to evaluate compliance with relevant Acts, Regulations, and Guidelines.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain statistics on workplace accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, and diseases.
- Brief employees and contractors on environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Plan and implement safe waste disposal strategies, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Conduct internal environmental system audits and lead external audits, including creating findings, determining corrective/preventive actions, and closing audit findings.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Environmental, Safety & Health or related discipline.
- Knowledge of incident reporting and current Safety & Health legislation.
- Possess Green Book/Yellow Book competency and Safety or First Aid training.
- Certified Safety & Health Officer (by NIOSH or equivalent) is an added advantage.
