Shinsung E&G Malaysia is seeking an experienced Safety Health Officer (SHO) Manager to lead and enforce safety compliance frameworks for our high-tech Data Centre deployment project in Puncak Alam, Selangor. The monthly salary range for this role spans from RM 6,000 to RM 9,000 based on seniority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance Management: Serve as the primary site liaison with the Malaysia Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), DOE, and CIDB to ensure ironclad site execution.
- Contractor EHS Oversight: Administer Contractor Management Systems and conduct rigorous pre-onboarding reviews of contractor safety programs to maintain company compliance standards.
- Risk Assessment & Audit Execution: Lead hazard identification, daily site safety inspections, and internal safety audits to minimize workplace ergonomic and operational risks.
- Safety Culture & Training: Design and execute specialized health, safety, and environmental training programs alongside daily site toolbox meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Green Book Certification: Must be actively registered with DOSH as a Safety and Health Officer (Certified OYK-SHO).
- Experience Baseline: Minimum of 3+ years of active site experience specifically after holding a valid Green Book certification.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, M&E disciplines, or Environmental Science.
- Project Track Record: Prior hands-on experience working directly on Data Centre projects or complex high-tech manufacturing facility construction is mandatory.
Highly preferred but not required:
- Certified CePSWaM Credentials: Certified with the Department of Environment (DOE) for Scheduled Waste Management.
- Integrated Management Auditing: Experience acting as an Internal Auditor for OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 compliance standards.
- Language Proficiency: Mandarin speakers are highly preferred to seamlessly facilitate communication with our primary Chinese clients and site subcontractors.
