Your mission:

1)Assist SHO in liaison with the local authority (especially DOSH) on matters concerning:

i)Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and its Regulations

ii)Factories and Machineries Act / FMA 1967 and its Regulations.

2)Assist SHO on preparation of annual safety training programmed based on the training needs/ competency analysis and arrangement for the implementation.

3)Assist SHO in preparing and arranging several types of training such as Basic and Health Awareness, Emergency Plan (e.g. drills related to injury / illness, fire, chlorine leakage, chemical spillage, explosion, bomb threat etc.), permit to work system, accident notification / investigation / reporting & etc.

4)Conduct inspection at the work place and investigation to any occupational or work related accidents including the provision of such report.

5)Coordinate on the needs of Personal Protective Equipment in the plants and make recommendations to the management.

6)Coordinate on the companys accident statistics, monitoring and analysis on the safety achievements.

7)Assist SHO in coordinating and monitoring the performance of the plants Security system.

8)The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/ instruction.

What we are looking for:

1) Degree/Diploma in Safety & Health/ OSH/ Environmental Science or any related education background.

2) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).

3) Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.

4) Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
