Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site safety operations and ensure full compliance with local regulations and company HSE standards
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings
• Monitor work activities and ensure proper use of PPE and safety procedures
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses, and follow up with corrective actions
• Maintain safety documentation and daily/weekly reports
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and clients to ensure a safe working environment
• Provide safety guidance and training to workers when required

Requirements

• Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) or any relevant safety training certification.
• Minimum 23 years of experience in site safety.
• Good understanding of Malaysian DOSH/OSHA requirements
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Able to work independently and remain stationed at the project site.
