Job Description – Sales / Account Executive (Cloud Solutions)

The Sales / Account Executive reports directly to the IT Sales & Marketing Division Head and is responsible for driving business growth through demand generation, client relationship management, and solution selling activities. This role works closely with both Pre-sales and Post-sales teams to deliver suitable cloud solutions to clients and support the overall sales cycle.

This position is designed as a career development pathway toward becoming a Sales Manager, with performance primarily measured based on sales revenue achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities and drive demand for cloud solutions and IT services.
  • Identify, approach, and develop new client accounts through proactive sales activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand customer business needs and propose suitable IT/cloud solutions.
  • Work closely with Pre-sales and Post-sales teams to ensure smooth solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, proposals, and related sales documentation.
  • Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and business discussions with clients.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities effectively.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs based on revenue generation.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and account activity updates.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in solution selling, IT sales, or account management.
  • Experience in cloud solutions or IT-related services will be an added advantage.
  • Strong hunting skills with the ability to develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills are a must.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple environments/tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and proactive mindset.
  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
