The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients, managing sales outreach, and achieving assigned sales targets within their area of responsibility, with a focus on industrial products such as air compressors and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source new clients and business prospects.
- Perform outreach to cold leads via calls and emails.
- Achieve sales targets set for the assigned area of responsibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable industrial products/solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and sales orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
- Coordinate with internal technical and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience selling industrial products with air compressors and blowers preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to perform cold calling and proactive client outreach.
- Good technical understanding of industrial products/systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage own sales pipeline.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
