We're hiring a senior commercial leader to take charge of sales, marketing, and revenue growth for our client - resort business.
This person will focus on increasing bookings, improving occupancy, and growing overall revenue. You will also help shape how the resort is positioned in the market and bring in new customers through partnerships and campaigns.
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Role: Sales & Marketing Manager (Hospitality)
What You'll Do:
Drive bookings and revenue- Increase room bookings and improve occupancy
- Create packages, promotions, and deals to attract customers
- Track performance and adjust strategies to improve results
Grow resort programmes and experiences- Promote and sell the resort's activities, events, and programmes
- Turn these offerings into strong revenue streams
- Package accommodation and experiences together to increase spend
Build partnerships and new business- Develop relationship with: training providers, corporate clients, travel agents and partners, schools and community groups, lifestyle and wellness partners
- Create deals and packages with partners to bring in more customers
- Look for new ways to generate revenue
Lead marketing and brand presence- Plan and run marketing campaigns (digital, social, promotions)
- Work with agencies or internal teams on marketing execution
- Improve awareness and attract the right target customers
Set up and lead the commercial team- Build and manage the sales and marketing team
- Set clear targets and track performance
- Put simple structures and processes in place
Requirements:
- 8–10+ years of experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or similar industries
- Strong background in sales, marketing, or commercial roles
- Proven track record in driving revenue and occupancy
- Experience building or improving sales and marketing functions
- Comfortable being hands-on and solving problems
- Good with people — both internally and with partners
