Hablem Oil & Gas (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth within the Oil & Gas industry.
As the Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategic sales initiatives, expanding our customer base, strengthening client relationships and achieving company growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Business Development
• Lead and manage the Sales Department to achieve company sales targets and business objectives.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence and generate new business opportunities.
• Identify potential clients, markets, partnerships and strategic opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, principals and business partners.
Sales Performance Management
• Drive sales revenue growth and ensure achievement of assigned targets.
• Monitor sales pipeline, customer engagement and business opportunities.
• Analyse market trends and provide recommendations to Management.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and business updates.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach and develop the sales team to improve performance and competency.
• Set objectives, monitor performance and provide guidance to sales personnel.
• Conduct regular sales meetings and ensure effective communication within the team.
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Understand customer requirements and provide suitable business solutions.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and positive customer experience.
Sales Operations & Reporting
• Manage sales documentation including proposals, quotations and contracts.
• Maintain accurate sales records, revenue tracking and customer information.
• Monitor business-related invoices and payment follow-ups.
Marketing & Company Branding Support
• Collaborate with the marketing/social media team to promote company products and services.
• Support company branding and business development activities.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development or related role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
• Strong network and understanding of Oil & Gas market, clients and industry practices.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently, strategically and result-oriented.
