Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for growing Unit of Sales (UOS), increase revenue and eliminate revenue obstacles through creative, adaptive strategies and plans.
- Develop & implement strategic plans in managing affiliates/partners across Corporate Sectors, Third Party Agents, Insurers, GPs, etc. to increase revenue and grow market share.
- Provides day-to-day leadership to sales & marketing team to achieve revenue & UOS objectives, with overall responsibility for achieving hospital revenue & UOS targets.
- Identify and execute sales & marketing initiatives based on customer / patient journey to develop and build long-term value based customer relationship to meet business goals.
- Develop & execute marketing campaigns to build brand equity, increase market share and grow revenue for the respective hospitals.
- Build relationships with the partners to create strong business relationship. Develop hospital affiliate partner plans i.e. comprises of account profile, account analysis, account strategy, account objectives, account action plan, etc.
- Continuously seek new opportunities and innovative strategies to drive revenue growth & market share in driving the Hospital as the leading preferred healthcare provider in Malaysia.
- Constantly map and evaluate partner & competitive landscape to identify trends that may lead to changes in sales & marketing strategies to meet or exceed business goals and customer expectations.
- Conceptualize and execute monthly promotion plans with clear KPIs.
- Reviews and maintains successful business performance by increasing revenues & UOS, controlling expenses and providing ROI for area of focus.
- Lead, execute, manage and monitor all sales & marketing campaigns/programs, set clear KPIs, monitor campaign effectiveness and performance.
- Work together with the Hospital COO in the formulation of individual hospital's sales communication strategies.
- Monitor partner's monthly/yearly cumulative performances and the various revenue driver category performances.
- Ensure execution of an effective marketing mix based on well researched consumer insights and a sound appreciation of the company's competitive strength and operational capabilities.
- Customize retention programs and continuously identify areas of improvements to build loyalty and brand affinity.
- Effective usage of digital marketing & social media platform to promote the brand, drive partner and consumer engagement, increase SOV and positive WOM for individual hospitals, the Pantai & Gleneagles brands as a whole.
- Coordinate execution of agreements, develop and maintain marketing/business development presentations.
- Prepare proposals and presentation materials for COO, management, partners and vendors.
- Formulate & update policies and procedures to meet present work requirements pertaining to sales & marketing.
- Participate in Quality Assurance programmes and Quality Improvement activities.
- Effective utilization of allocated budget, monitor budget utilization and measure campaign/program/activities KPIs & ROIs.
- To perform other duties which may be assigned form time-to-time by the COO & Head of Marketing MOD or designated representative on behalf of the Management.
- Conduct performance evaluations and promote professional development.
- Supervise and mentor IT staff, encouraging continuous improvement of professional growth.
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
Qualification and Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent
- At least 10 years working experience in a senior Sales & Marketing portfolio, preferably in a
private hospital setting.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, Insurance industry managing or servicing key
accounts.
- Self-oriented with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proven track record in corporate client management, business development and branding.
- Ability to analyze data and translate into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and presentation skills.
